NoCo Housing Fund
A Path to Home Ownership for Key Workers in Northern Colorado
Northern Colorado is a thriving economic and educational hub with historic charm. It is a vibrant community, has top-rated schools and amazing outdoor recreation access.
Unfortunately housing prices across the region prevent educators, first responders, and nonprofit workers from putting down roots and being economically stable.
The NoCo Housing Fund changes that narrative by providing a sustainable path for home ownership through down payment extension for the flourishing of the community.
What This Fund Does
The NoCo Housing Fund was created to:
Address housing affordability barriers for full-time educators, first responders, and nonprofit workers.
Mobilize philanthropic capital and mission-aligned investments for down payment extension.
Strengthen community impact by enabling key workers to live nearby the people and places they serve.
This fund reflects a collaborative response from local partners who believe that housing affordability is vital to Northern Colorado’s community health and long-term vibrancy.
Why It Matters
Educators, first responders and nonprofit workers play a critical role in supporting families, neighborhoods, and vulnerable populations across Northern Colorado. As housing costs rise, many find it increasingly difficult to live in the communities where they serve. The NoCo Housing Fund helps remove that barrier, so leaders can stay rooted, present, and effective in their work.
Who Is This Fund For?
The NoCo Housing Fund is designed to serve two groups:
Educators, First Responders & Nonprofit Leaders
Full-time workers who are seeking home ownership in the communities where they serve. Examples include educators, first responders, and 501c3 staff.
Mission-Aligned Investors & Donors
Individuals, families, and organizations who want to deploy capital or charitable gifts toward expanding housing access and strengthening the fabric of the community.
How It Works
The NoCo Housing Fund leverages the power of charitable giving alongside strategic capital to create housing opportunities that wouldn’t otherwise be accessible. Through this collective effort, the fund expands capacity for home ownership options for educators, first responders & nonprofit leaders.
